Special Event Station – Airfields on the Air
April 4, 2026 - April 5, 2026
Harlow & District Amateur Radio Society will be taking part in this annual event operating the special event callsign GB0WAO from Willingale Airfield, Fyfield.
If you wish to visit the station please follow directions to Cannons Lane, Ongar CM5 0TG. At the end of the road turn left and follow on to a farm track past the fishing lake on the right turning right at the top to continue along the old concrete runway. We are situated by the windsock and the aircraft hangers.

Special event stations usually operate between 8.30am and 4.00pm – licensed amateurs, SWLs and visitors are welcome to join us.
