Special Event Station – Mills on the Air

Harlow & District Amateur Radio Society will be taking part in this annual event operating the special event callsign GB0TWM from John Webb’s Windmill, Thaxted 

If you wish to visit the station please follow directions to Thaxted Parish Church,Watling St, Thaxted CM6 2PE and find parking close by. From the church, follow the path through the Alms Houses and continue through the kissing gate, past Mill Row cottages. When you come to the wooden gate, continue through and the windmill will be on your right hand side – you will see us operating close by.

Special event stations usually operate between 8.30am and 4.00pm – licensed amateurs, SWLs and visitors are welcome to join us.
